Hydrogen Hybrid

A major automobile manufacturer has developed a new hybrid. It uses a battery along with fuel cell technology to function. The car runs the first 25 miles on electricity at speeds of up to 85 m.p.h. After 25 miles it switches to the hydrogen tank to run and charge the battery for an extended 200 mile total until needing more hydrogen. It uses pressurized hydrogen gas, and is estimated will be like 40 m.p.g. in comparisons to gasoline which is practically doubling the present day average. The emissions produced are nothing more than water vapor. The development cost was 2 million, but no details on how much it will be with mass production or when that will be either.
