Biodiesel fuel is better for you; the environment (it breaks up in water faster than sugar) and your diesel engine will run better and last longer than the fuel provided by the big companies. Plus you can make it yourself for around 70 cents a gallon. When the biodiesel is burned it smells like the food it was cooked in fries, peanut oil, etc. Making biodiesel is almost the same as making soap with few variations here and there, and about as easy too. If you have the right area for a biodiesel kit and started producing your own fuel you would save a fortune. Which brought me to a thought (why aren’t there any diesel hybrids?) Since diesel engines typically get more miles per gallon. Apparently GM is coming out with one soon. A diesel hybrid running on your own home made biodiesel fuel. I think that’s the way to go until we get a more available cost efficient fuel source solution.
